Caring for Your Shoonyas
To preserve the beauty, softness, and craftsmanship of your Shoonyas saree, we recommend following these care guidelines:
Dry Clean Only
For best results, always dry clean your saree. This helps preserve the fabric, embroidery, hand-painted details, and delicate embellishments.
Do Not Soak
Avoid soaking the saree in water or detergent for extended periods, as this may affect the fabric and detailing.
Handle With Care
Hand-painted, embroidered, and embellished sarees are crafted with intricate artistry and should be handled gently to maintain their beauty.
Avoid Direct Sunlight
If airing or drying is necessary, do so in the shade. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause colours to fade over time.
Store Thoughtfully
Fold your saree neatly and store it in a cool, dry place. For long-term storage, we recommend using a soft muslin or cotton bag.
Iron on Low Heat
Use a low-temperature setting and iron on the reverse side whenever possible. Avoid direct heat on embroidery, sequins, or painted motifs.
A Note on Our Mul Cotton Sarees
Our premium mul cotton sarees are loved for their feather-soft texture, breathability, and effortless drape. Due to the delicate nature of the fabric, Shoonyas sarees do not include a blouse piece, and blouse stitching from the saree fabric is not recommended.
